What YUJIE makes
Earrings came first, and they are still the heart of the range: knot and chunky hoops, hammered teardrops, enamel bows, huggies and a shelf of clip-ons for ears that are not pierced. Necklaces followed, from a small gold fish on a chain to beaded chokers with a puffy resin heart.
Around those sit the smaller things: birthstone bracelets, two rings, bag charms, and a holiday shelf that fills with pumpkins in October and Christmas trees in November.
Who we make it for
You put your earrings in before coffee and take them out at night. You want a pair that looks like a decision, a hammered drop or a thick hoop, but you do not want to feel it pulling by lunch or lose a back on the train.
That is why every product page here gives you the plating karat, the length in inches and millimeters, the weight in grams where our data has it, and the kind of earring back. You can compare two pairs by the numbers before you look at the price.
Gold plated, said plainly
YUJIE jewelry is gold plated, not solid gold. A layer of 14 or 18 karat gold covers a base metal, most often brass, and the karat names the gold in that layer. Plating wears with contact over time, and the care guide says what slows it.
None of our pieces is sold as hypoallergenic or nickel-free. If your skin reacts to jewelry, the gold plating guide lists what the dermatologists say, and a doctor is the person to ask.
How the catalog stays current
A piece appears here when it is in stock with our retail partner at our latest catalog update, and it leaves the site when it is not. Prices come from the same update, and the buy button opens that exact piece so you can check out.
After 5 years, the range has grown past three hundred pieces, and new ones arrive each season. The "New" mark on a card tells you which.
